I was once told, “to be kissed by a fool is stupid, to be fooled by a kiss is worse.” The accumulation of mental, emotional, and even physical abuse over the years have now left women in a state of zero tolerance with us men. Today’s conversations about the enigma known as the woman will usually start off with a statement like, “Yo…watch out! These women are crazy as hell.” Recently, news spread of the death of former NFL Quarterback Steve McNair-murdered by his 20 year-old side-jawn while he slept. After killing McNair, the young lady then shot herself and was found dead alongside him. There were a surprising number of women who felt that McNair got exactly what he deserved. They felt no remorse for him-but rather felt sorry for his wife, who told authorities that she had no idea that he was having an affair, and their 4 sons. Sadly, McNair paid the ultimate price for tampering with the fragile emotions of a younger, mentally unstable woman. A woman who was probably crazy as a cockroach in the first place, but the signs weren’t noticed-or were completely ignored.
As if the sudden murder of Steve McNair wasn’t enough-weeks later, former Boxing Champion, Arturo Gatti, was found dead in his hotel room in Brazil during his 2nd honeymoon. Amanda Rodriguez, his 23 year-old Wife, was the prime suspect. They had been involved in a fight at the hotel that day and several people witnessed it. (Who the hell gets in a fistfight with their wife during their 2nd honeymoon?!?) Afterwards Gatti had gotten drunk. REAL DRUNK-and passed out. When the body was first discovered, there was blood on the back of his head and neck and there was a bloody white pocketbook close to the body. His wife couldn’t explain what happened and claimed she “found him that way.” She insisted that someone else must have come into the room and done it, but they checked the electronic locks on the doors and there was no entry besides them. She had conflicting reports with the detectives and couldn’t explain why the body had been dead on the couch for 10 hours before she noticed. So…they arrested her.
Brazil has a reputation for being a corrupt place with an incompetent police force. Weeks later, the story changed and they were wondering if Gatti had actually hung himself with the pocketbook straps. Most detectives were theorized that his wife actually strangled him with the pocketbook while he was extremely intoxicated, because it would have been virtually impossible for her to overpower him when sober. The couple had been having troubles for some time and Gatti’s close friends said he was pondering divorce. His wife was a stripper that he met a few years ago while frequenting the NY club that she worked at. (shaking my head) Even though all the evidence pointed to the wife, who made threats to kill him during public fights, Police just released her from jail Wednesday. They now claim that Gatti had been hanging in the closet and ruled it a suicide. Hmmm. I’m not sure how someone goes from being found dead on a couch-to the investigation weeks later now stating that he was hanging in a closet. It was also reported that in June or July, Gatti changed his will so that 100% of his money would go to his wife, and not his family as he initially had planned. Someone definitely got paid in American dollars. So…score another victory for the emotionally fragile, psychotic young women. She has now gotten away clean with murder and one of my favorite boxers is dead.

You gotta wonder… with the sudden trend of women murdering their companions-like Jason Vorhees with white teenagers at Camp Crystal Lake-how do we proactively see the signs that a person could be crazy? What is causing the increasing number of women scorned?
I think that many relationships are doomed from the very start because most men and women follow different sets of rules. We don’t even have the same concepts when it comes to dating. Cher once said, “A girl can wait for the right man to come along, but in the meantime that still doesn’t mean she can’t have a wonderful time with all the wrong ones.” Now that’s just stupid. You see…women doom them selves from the start because most women are serial daters. They see nothing wrong with dating several men at one time. Women will even date men that they have absolutely no interest in…simply just to get out of the house and a free meal. Although this may seem like a good idea to some, you are setting yourself up for a bad resolution. To most women, “dating” is defined simply as two people going out and having a good time. I look at dating totally different. I date one person at a time; this way I am giving that person my genuine interest. Dating, in my opinion, is when two people are taking a genuine interest in one another and are going through the motions to weigh compatibility. A female that I choose to “date” is someone that I actually like. If we’re dating, we’re talking on a regular basis, I’m seeing you on a regular basis, it is understood that she’s single…and I’m single. There is no one else on the horizon.
Today’s woman feels as though she is entitled to options when she dates. Funny thing is…when men feel entitled to those same “options” we’re viewed as “players”. Suddenly we’re deemed as sneaky, oversexed selfish dogs. Interesting. How can you seriously date someone, when you have several other options on the horizon? If I had a dollar for every time I had to listen to a female friend’s late night phone confession about another guy they were dating, who decided to one day go insane…I’d be a very rich man right now. One thing all of the stories have in common: There was a crazy “option” they were dating among their roster of potentials that had gone overlooked. Why?!? Simple. You can’t see the things that you need to see with the opposite sex, when you’re juggling several at one time…and giving none your undivided attention. Imagine how much more difficult it was for Steve McNair to have noticed that his chick on the side was insane and fully capable of killing him in a jealous fit of rage? If his wife were crazy…he would have likely seen it coming…because the wife commands his genuine interest. Someone on the side could be sitting at home right now…naked…surrounded by candles…biting the heads off of mice…and you’d probably never know they’re crazy…because they’re simply a side-jawn. Their duty in the relationship is simple-just as the duties of several men who are being juggled and used for their time, money and chivalry. Make sense?

There’s no room for hypocrisy in a relationship. Ask any real brotha; if we’re out with the fellas and afterwards stop at IHOP and the server was a gorgeous sista-we’d have no problem exchanging information with her. But let’s flip it. The ladies have just finished a night at the club and decide to hit up the local IHOP restaurant. How many of you would exchange numbers with the handsome brotha taking your order? None. A conversation among a group of sistas even thinking about entertaining it would sound like this:
Nikki: “Girl, the server is cute. I think he likes you”
Keisha: “Shiiiiiiit…he workin’ at IHOP. Giiiiirl I’m good.
Nikki: (laughs) “I know, right?!?”

So, what is it that is causing the sudden outbursts and dubious behavior from the women? Are they really tired of the treatment that us men bestow upon them? Or are they simply growing frustrated with their own inability to control situations within their lives? In the ultimate act of angry black women losing their minds, we have Karrine Stephans aka “Superhead”, who rose to “fame” with her idiotic tell-all book entitled “Confessions of a Video Vixen.” In case anyone doesn’t know who this idiot is, she’s the former video-hoe who released a book naming the celebrities that she sucked and fucked during her various years of making rap videos. Some women actually buy her stupid books and support her in her endeavors. Sadly, her books simply prove that we are far too obsessed with celebrities and their dirt. It also proves that only in America can an uneducated, talentless become become famous for no reason (Paris Hilton, Flavor Flav, Kim Kardashian). Any fool knows that the name “Superhead” came from her prowess in sucking dick, however Karrine-doing what she does best…LYING to a mass of fools-claims it’s a moniker that she gave to herself during a relationship with an artist-claiming it was meaningful.
Perhaps the thing that annoys the educated Negro more than Superhead, would be watching other educated African Americans helping promote a book that epitomizes what’s wrong with many sistas. Oprah is one of the world’s most respected black women. Many people wondered why on earth would Oprah allow Karrine to come on her show in 2006 and promote her book. It’s simple…as intelligent as Oprah is, it doesn’t leave her immune from having moments where she appears to have the I.Q of a jelly doughnut. Besides…I’m convinced that Oprah secretly hates us men and that book was designed to expose and hurt men in the industry…while lining her pockets. Karrine went on to be interviewed by other journalists, including Bill O’ Reilly, Geraldo Rivera and many others. Most of them were really questioning her motives and actually denouncing what she’d done…but oftentimes some just don’t get it. It’s sad when people assume the public is dumb enough to believe any old thing they say to you. She says that the book is actually designed to keep other young girls from choosing that life, and that it’s an autobiography about her life. Right. No disrespect to the perils of her early life or the fact that she and her Mother aren’t speaking (cry me a river), people only buy that book to hear names like Jay-Z, Jaime Foxx, Bobby Brown and Shaquille O’ Neil mentioned.
To the sistas who say, “Don’t hate on Karrine or how she gets her money” I propose to drop my tell-all book. I’ll talk shit on every girl I’ve ever slept with… and then we’ll see how embraced I am from the female population. I’m sure I’ll be as loved as menstrual cramps. (smile) Predictably, Karrine is back at it again…releasing her third book, The Vixen Manual: How to Find, Seduce & Keep The Man You Want. Now…y’all sistas can run out there and buy that shit if ya want, but I don’t think I wanna take advice on finding and keeping a man from someone who was used and dropped by a bunch of celebrities. It’s like how sistas think that Steve Harvey is a relationship Guru. Why?!? Because he wrote a common-sense book on relationships?!? Do sistas even realize that Steve is on his 3rd marriage? I implore people to be more intelligent in 2010.
